pushed out into poverty from my band

I have seen it so many times where a person has to be related or a friend of someone who has power in the band office to get a house or be one of the priority in getting employment or funding of any sort.  Others who aren't related are poor and living in unlivable conditions.  I am from a reservation and yet my family have been pushed out of the reserve as outsiders.  There is no option for us  to get a home as there is a huge waiting list.  A lot of us off reserve members weren't treated fairly and wish we could go live back on our land.  They don't tale care of their houses cuz they didn't work to pay it off just received it for having the right blood and more and more of the votes that are in the reserve is cause there is a lot to the family that have control and can keep their family in.  I am living like a non status native so what's the difference I don't feel like I need to fight for their rights to their land cause my family don't share those rights.  Our leaders and how they treat some of their own people are what make us all look bad.
